Hi! My name is Kassia. I am a Political Science and Journalism student at the University of Colorado Boulder. My work centers on telling personal, moving stories with people at the center. I’m especially interested in how intimate storytelling can build empathy and help audiences see each other more clearly.

Through my journalism coursework, I have produced short documentaries, audio interviews, photo projects, and written articles.

I spent the past two summers interning at San José Spotlight. In this nonprofit news organization, I applied my academic training in a fast-paced newsroom and gained hands-on experience working alongside reporters, editors, and audience engagement professionals.
